We could not have asked for better weather or a better turnout for this year's Cruisin' for the Kids event! On Saturday, we welcomed the Mid-Ohio Corvette Club (MOCC) and Buckeye Corvette Club to CCHO with over 100 beautiful corvettes on our campus.
Attendees enjoyed a great car show with a delicious meal, awards, kid's rides and a silent auction. There were approximately 80 items in the auction with proceeds being donated to help the children at CCHO. The children, staff and attendees voted for their favorite Corvettes. The top 3 received a Kid's Choice award while 1 Corvette won Staff Choice and 1 won People's Choice. An honorary award was also given in memory of Roger J. Flading.
The children on campus always look forward to the Cruisin' for the Kids event. They get to vote on beautiful cars, get 'tattoos' made with glitter, visit with a clown, eat delicious food and 'take a spin' in some sweet rides!
Thank you, Mid-Ohio Corvette Club and Buckeye Corvette Club, for your heart for hurting kids. Your commitment to helping these kids for 15 years in a row is such a testament to the compassion you have for CCHO. Thank you for your time and all the resources you have donated to help these kids receive the love and treatment they need and deserve.
