Wear Blue Day is a statewide awareness campaign that takes place every April, National Child Abuse Prevention Month. This year, Ohioans are encouraged to wear blue April 9, to show their support and commitment to prevent child abuse and neglect.
According to the CDC, at least 1 in 7 children have experienced (reported) abuse or neglect in the past year in the United States. This is likely an underestimate because many cases are unreported.

CCHO and our Family of Ministries including Encompass Christian Counseling and Encourage Foster Care have directly served thousands of children between the ages of 0 (newborn) – 18 years old. We work hand in hand to provide life-saving services as we work with not only the child but the support system around them.
Today we want to share our promise to you. We will not be silent. We will speak up and protect the vulnerable. We will continue to show the healing power and love of Christ as we provide wrap-around services for the children we serve…many who have been victims of abuse and neglect.
