Over 250 people attended our annual Heart for the Home Benefit & Auction in support of Christian Children’s Home of Ohio and its family of ministries on Saturday, March 19 at Greystone Event Center in Wooster, OH. The evening featured a delicious dinner and an empowering message of faith, hope, determination, and perseverance from guest speaker, Romona Robinson. We handed out our Heart for the Home awards to Lyle Beveridge (posthumous), a former CCHO Board Member, who served the agency for more than 25 years and Discover Christian Church, for the church’s support and service since CCHO’s inception in 1969.
The event also included a huge, record-breaking online auction with more than 80 bundles up for bidding. Bidding kicked off March 9 and concluded the evening of the event. While event attendees had an opportunity to view the items in person, winners did not need to be present to win.
