Being the hands, feet and heart of Jesus

Updated: May 13, 2022

We have the best staff. Kind, selfless, encouraging, compassionate, dedicated—all for the sake of life change for kids from hard places. Those qualities are making a difference on our Wooster campus. Here’s what one of our residential team members, Cindy Lechner, recently shared on her social media page.

He is demonstrating love, caring and filling a need for help in this little boy’s life. Mr. Louie doesn’t just stop after the fish is hauled in, he goes on to make this boy feel special, encouraged, and loved by his words of affirmation and pats on the back. Something this little guy needs because he never got it at home.

Working at CCHO isn’t just a job by a long shot. This is an opportunity every day to help change life for children that have otherwise lost all hope because of the circumstances in which they have been living in. If you would like to be a part of our mission here at CCHO, I can’t think of a better place to be. We love, grow and learn together, restoring hope to hurting children together, and being the hands, feet and heart of Jesus while we’re doing it…together…one child at a time.
