Every summer the children in each cottage join forces for a chance to win the CCH-Olympics first-place trophy. The CCH-Olympics are held throughout the summer with a variety of fun activities, artistic expression and team building! The first task was for each cottage to create their own team flag!
Each week of the summer held something new and exciting! These activities ranged from sack racing to an egg toss and trust building exercises to using chalk to express themselves. The kids also enjoyed learning archery, participated in tug-of-war and worked as a team to win all kinds of relay races!
These activities not only allow the children to simply be kids, the games also foster comradery with their peers as they learn to trust each other and rely on each other's strengths to win! All the cottages received medals, but the first-place trophy went to the teen boys after months of strategy and fun! Congrats teen boys on your sweet victory!
